Abstract:
PURPOSE:To reduce transfer information while ensuring security by forming the system of user authentication in a form of implementing only once a questionnaire and its reply in sereral hundreds bits. CONSTITUTION:A user 100 generates an open key and a secret key in a form of digital signature at the subscription to the system and registers the open key in pairs with an ID. A unidirectional function computing element 140 of a party 100 to be authenticated in the process of authentication processing stage calculates X=F(R,U) in terms of a unidirectional function F based on random numbers R, U generated by a random number generator110 and sends the result to a authentication party together with the ID. The authentication party generates a random number Y from the ID by using the function X and sends it to the party 100 to be authenticated, which uses a function computing element 160 to calculate M=H(R,Y) based on the random numbers R, Y and to generate a digital signature S from the secret key and to send the signature S and the random numbers R, U to the authentication party. The authentication party uses the unidirectional function F to verify whether or not the relation of X=F(R,U) is satisfied and calculates M when satisfied thereby verifying the verification of the M and its digital signature S.
