Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enhance the easiness in shaping a movable pulley shell half which constitutes a pulley for continuously variable transmission.
CONSTITUTION: A movable pulley shell half 4 installed slidably in axial direction while confronting a stationary pulley shell half 1 is formed from a pulley part 5 and a boss part 7, and a plurality of ball grooves 9 stretching in the axial direction are formed at the inside surface of the shaft hole 8, and thereby the movable pulley shell half 4 is coupled on a shaft 12 by balls 14 which are fitted by pressure between the ball groove 9 and another ball groove 13 furnished in the shaft 12.
