PURPOSE: To exactly obtain the amounts of loads placed on a ship by a method in which displacement, ballast amount and moment are calculated on the basis of the measured results of draft meters set on plural places of the outer shell of the hull and also of level meters set to each tank in the ship.
CONSTITUTION: Draft meters 3 are provided on desired places, e.g., on both boards of front, rear and central parts, of the outer shell of the hull. Level meters 5 are also provided to liquid tanks, e.g., a ballast tank, a drinking water tank and a fuel tank, provided in a ship. Measured values are put in an arithmetic unit through an interface 6 to calculate displacement, draft condition and moments around the center of the hull. Even after or during the cargo work, calculation is made on the basis of measured values to exactly know the amounts of burdens loaded on the ship.
