PURPOSE: To let leavings of food caught in a filter covering a wash pump smoothly leave and drain into a waste container.

CONSTITUTION: This dish washing and drying machine is composed of an inner tank 19 furnished with a dish basket 20 and a jet nozzle 21, a reservior 22 installed at the bottom of the inner tank 19, a wash pump 23 pumping up water in the reservoir 22 to the jet nozzle 21, a waste container 24 communicating with the reservior 22 via a check valve 28, a filter 31 covering the suction of the wash pump 23, and a drain pump 29 to pump up and drain slops outside from the waste container 24. In addition, the filter 31 is installed vertically and the waste container 24 is placed outside under the filter 31.
