PURPOSE: To miniaturize the distributor and eliminate generation of electromagnetic noise by a method wherein an ignition signal generating unit and a cylinder signal generating unit, operating sequentially the group of interruptors, are provided and a distributing circuit section, for distributing electronically by the combination of output signals of these units, is provided integrally at the upper part of a casing enclosing a driving shaft.
CONSTITUTION: A centrifugal spark angle advancing mechanism 5, attached to the shaft end of the driving shaft 3, is accommodated in a casing 2 enclosing the driving shaft 3 driven by the engine and a rotor shaft 4 is pivoted by the movement of the weight in the mechanism 5 due to the centrifugal force thereof. The ignition signal generating rotor 7a of the ignition signal generating unit 7 and the cylinder signal generating rotor 8a of the distributing circuit 8 are fixed to the rotor shaft 4. The cylinder signal generating rotor 8a is provided with a photoelectric element, fixed to the casing 2, and is faced to the inside of the slit 8k of a pickup 8c. The distributing circuit section 9, formed by a circuit base plate 9f, mounting a base 9a, a cover 9b and a tip component 9g, is provided integrally with the uppermost part of the casing 2.
