Abstract:
PURPOSE:To greatly enhance sorting accuracy without increasing a sorting air quantity. CONSTITUTION:Small-grain materials, such as noncombustibles, in waste, pass the sieve holes 5c of a sieving section 5a and fall into a block chamber 16 for the sieving section. The materials of relatively large grain size on the sieve, i.e. stone lumps, etc., are transported to an air sorting section 5b. The stone lumps thereon rapidly fall over an inclined wall 5e. On the other hand, the underlying sheet-like materials move slow and, therefore, the stone lumps change in the underlying position with the sheet-like materials from the central part of the worst case to the ends. The stone lumps of a heavy sp. gr. are largely splashed by vibration of the air screening section 5b but the sheet-like materials of a light sp. gr. are not so much splashed up and, therefore, clearances are generated between the stone lumps and the air screening section 5b. The sheet- like materials are surely removed and floated by the gushing air. The floating vinyls, paper, etc., are sucked together with the air from a suction hood 25 by an exhauster 31 and are recovered by a capturing machine 30. The stone lumps, etc., from which the vinyls, papers, etc., are removed are discharged through a discharge port 3.
