Abstract:
PURPOSE: To attain miniaturization and reduction in cost with a simple constitution, and the contact development of high quality by the contact of a photosensitive belt with a developing roller.
CONSTITUTION: One rubber roller 2 having an outside diameter smaller than the inside diameter of a cylindrical photosensitive belt 1, is inserted thereinto, and the photosensitive belt 1 is rotated/driven by the rubber roller 2. The developing roller 7 is brought into contact with the slack part T of the photosensitive belt 1, generated by a difference between the inside and outside diameters of the photosensitive belt 1 and the rubber roller 2, and the nip width of the photosensitive belt 1 and the developing roller 7 can be sufficiently taken.
