Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent the deterioration of an output image and to enhance the image quality thereof by subtracting the 2nd detected image detected by an image detecting means without being accelerated from the 1st detected image detected by the image detecting means. CONSTITUTION:An X-ray image 208 to be detected is first converted by a photoelectric conversion surface 201 to a photoelectron image which is accelerated by the parallel electric field impressed between an anode 202 and the photoelectric conversion surface 201. The photoelectron past an anode hole 203 provided at the center of the anode 202 is subjected to electron amplification by a microchannel plate 205, etc., and is converted to the visible image 211 by a fluorescent plate 206. This image is photographed by a CCD camera 212. The 1st output of this camera 212 is first stored into the memory of an image processor 213. The impression of the electric field between the anode 202 and the converting surface 201 is then stopped and the output of the component exclusive of the photoelectron is converted to visible light 211 while the acceleration of the photoelectron is held stopped. This light is photographed by the camera 212. The 2nd output is stored in the memory of the processor 213. These outputs are subtracted and only the signal component by the photoelectron is taken out.
