PURPOSE: To obtain automatic starting and warming-up in safety by judging the propriety of starting, as well preheating and cranking automatically in accordance with the gear position and the brake state for continuing the warming-up and intermitting it when necessary.
CONSTITUTION: A control circuit 35 of a microcomputer judges the propriety of starting on the basis of signals of bonnet opening and closing 44, oil amount 42, cooling water amount 43, and battery voltage contact 33b, and signals received from a neutral switch 45 and a side brake switch 46, and makes pre-glow controlling. It makes cranking after the above work is finished, but when the battery voltage is reduced under a fixed value, the cranking is stopped. As soon as this starter 38a is operated, a timer is started, and the starter is intermitted once after a fixed time. As the starter is operated again and an engine is judged to be perfectly started on the basis of the speed of the engine, the starter is intermitted and the timer is set. When the eigine is stalled within this set time, the starter is operated again. Then, the warming-up is continued, and when the warmed-up state is detected on the basis of the temperature of cooling water, fuel is intercepted to stop the engine.
