PURPOSE: To enhance the easiness and effectiveness in boring works of a manhole by measuring the moving amount of manhole in the axial direction and the circumferentially rotating amount, fixing in a specified place, and boring a flow-in hole using a boring machine.
CONSTITUTION: A manhole B is placed on a roller 6, and a rotary wheel 7c is contacted with the reference line such as a seam of concrete forms. The manhole B is rotated, and the wheel 7c is rotated, and the manhole B is stopped rotating in the position where the scale value of the wheel 7c attains the predetermined angle. Then a supporting rod 7b is rotated 90 deg., and the manhole B is moved on a rail 5 in the horizontal direction and stopped in the position where the scale value of the wheel 7c attains the predetermined amount of movement. A bit 3a of a boring machine 3 is driven, and a flow-in hole is opened. It may also work well if a revolving speed sensor circuit for the wheel 7c is furnished, and the amount of movement is shown on a display. This enables executing works easily without requiring any skill, shortens the time of working, and permits establishing the device at a low cost.
