Title:
MULTILENS CAMERA
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0764182
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To catch an object on the full surface of a photographic picture frame by adjusting a tilt and shifting device, even when the distance between view points on both ends is long, in a multilens camera.

CONSTITUTION: The tilt and shifting device 337 having a tilt shifting quantity 338 that an optical axis 334 goes to the center 336 of a field 333 is attached to each lens 332. Each tilt and shifting quantity 338 is set so that the optical axes 334 of each camera cross each other at a point of the center 336 of the object. Moreover, a fixed focusing lens 332 having a visual field angle 136 so as to just catch only the field is used. Therefore, the subjects 232a and 232n in the field on an image pickup surface are sufficiently made large and the object out of the field is not photographed. Therefore, it is unnecessary that a wide angle lens is used or each camera is turned, to photograph the same object from both view points.
