Abstract:

PURPOSE: To enhance the rate of operation of the equipment to a great extent and to rapidly correspond to the formation and alteration of the size of a vulcanized tire.

CONSTITUTION: At the time of usual operation, the upper rim part of a grasping device P is hung up by a feed device and a cooled tire is taken out in a suspended state by an unloader 10 while an uncooled tire is taken in a tire vulcanizer in a suspended state by the unloader of the vulcanizer and, subsequently, the upper rim part is allowed to fall to lock upper and lower rims and compressed air is introduced into the tire T to inflate the tire T to enter a cooling process. After the completion of cooling in the cooling process, the feed device and the unloader 10 are moved to grasping devices P1, P2 to complete the cooling of the tire T to wait the release of the pressure in the tire. At the time of the replacement of the rims, the cooled tire is taken out in a suspended state and the upper rimp part is allowed to fall not only to lock the upper and lower rims but also to release the lock between the lower rim part and a base 7 and the upper rim part is hung up along with the lower rim part to be transferred to a delivery position.
