PURPOSE: To completely erase printed letters by providing a type element exclusively for correction in addition to a type element for printing.

CONSTITUTION: Types 6 and 7 are formed over all the tip end of sporks plurally and radially provided on the periphery of a circular rim. The type 6 for printing is set on the left half of the type wheel 5, and the type 7 of large size for correction is set on the right half. The same letters for printing and correction are provided on positions biased by 180° mutually on the type wheel. Even when the printer is deviated from a desired position by various reasons, letters can be completely erased and corrected by the type of large size.
