Title:
【発明の名称】亜酸化窒素分解用触媒及び亜酸化窒素の除去方法
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2866928
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a N2 O decomposing catalyst having high catalytic activity and showing sufficient decomposing activity to N2 O even under the coexistence of moisture and a removing method of N2 O contained in a gas using the catalyst. SOLUTION: This catalyst is composed of a multiple metal oxide obtained by firing a hydrotalcite type compound, which contains zinc (II) ion, rhodium (III) ion and aluminum (III) ion and in which only zinc oxide exists in a crystalline state, and the atomic ratio Zn/Al of zinc to aluminum contained in the multiple metal oxide is >=3 and the content of rhodium is 5-3wt.%. The method for removing N2 O contained in the gas is by allowing the gas to contact with the catalyst at 250-600C to decompose to gaseous oxygen and nitrogen.
