PURPOSE: To make the volume of the sound from a sound producing material approximately constant in the position of an object in the indoor use as well as the outdoor use, by switching the relation between the lens distance set value and the volume of the sound producing meterial in accordance with circumstance such as the indoor use and the outdoor use.

CONSTITUTION: A constant voltage from a constant voltage source 6 is applied to variable resistors 7 and 8 which are operated in accordance with the lens distance position, and in case of the outdoor use, the voltage of the variable terminal of the variable resistor 7 is inputted to a terminal A of an analog switch 11 through an OP amplifier 10 as it is. The output of a terminal B of the analog switch 11 is applied to a sound producing material B through an amplifier 12 to generate a prescribed pulse tone with the second stroke depression of a shutter button. Since variable resistors 7 and 8 are interlocked with a lens distance ring, the volume of the sound generated from the sound producing material 13 is different by the lens distance position. Thus, the volume of the sound from the sound producing material is made approximately constant in the position of an object.
