Abstract:
PURPOSE:The captioned device of a small size, less pressure losses and superior treating efficiency which comprises opening the downstream side of the static type in-pipe mixer which is connected with the lead-in pipe for the liquid to be treated and the lead-in pipe for treating liquid at its upstream side, into the inside of a stagnating tank. CONSTITUTION:The liquid to be treated and the treating liquid are continuously pressure-fed through respective lead-in pipes 1, 7 into the static in-pipe mixer 2 of the construction comprising continuously providing, e.g., multiple spiral blades 9 into a hollow pipe 8. After both the liquids are subjected to the sufficient mixing action in their radial direction within the mixer, they are discharged into a stagnating tank 3 through an outlet 5, whereby the sufficient mixing in the advance direction is accomplished. Hence, the treated liquid provided with even characteristic values is taken out in the absence of power from the lead-out pipe 4.
