PURPOSE: To provide the titled apparatus for simply adsorbing and removing Cl- ion and a noxious electrolytic substance in tap water, constituted so as to allow AC high voltage static electricity to be incident to tap water in a purifying tank equipped with an activated carbon adsorbing tank while imparting vibration to said tap water by a high magnetic field.

CONSTITUTION: In a tap water purifying apparatus wherein an activated carbon adsorbing tower 6 comprising upper and lower two layers is provided in a purifying tank 5 and AC high voltage static electricity generated in a high voltage generator 1 is incident to tap water in the tank 5 from a spring electrode 3 provided vertically from the upper part to the bottom part of the tank 5 and a metal net electrode 4 connected to the terminal of said electrode 3, tap water is introduced into the tank 5 from a tap water inlet 11 and a magnetic field is generated by a high magnetic field generator 9 provided to the outside of the tank 5 to impart vibration to water. By this method, Cl- ion and noxious electrolytic substance in tap water are adsorbed with the activated carbon of the adsorbing tank 6 while nagatively charged and activated water having high osmotic pressure is taken out from a purified water outlet 12.
