Abstract:
Device for placing a tool-carrying frame (12) on the rails (16) of a track (3), with a scanning member (27) which scans a rail, in which arrangement the tool-carrying frame (12) having flanged wheels (15) is linked by drives (13, 14) to the machine frame (4) of a track-laying machine movable on tracks and can be locked in an inoperative position. The scanning member (27) is arranged in the radial plane (55) of at least one flanged wheel (15) at least during the operation for placing the tool-carrying frame (12) on the rails (16) and is connected to a hydraulic control system (51) for interrupting the loading of the transverse-displacement drive (14) and/or is designed for the transmission of an acoustic or optical signal.
