PURPOSE: To reduce the loss of printing paper as compared with a conventional draw-in device.

CONSTITUTION: In a draw-in device for drawing in a plurality of printing material rolls, especially, paper rolls, draw-in members having predetermined length grasp the leading part of the paper roll to allow this roll to pass through printing mechanisms 2-5 from roll changers 6-8 and draw devices 15-17 to run to folding machines 20-22. There is an electronic memory device and all of draw-in routes 9-11 in a printing machine are stored in the memory device. The draw-in members are switched on at different times corresponding to the different lengths of the draw-in routes 9-11 and the resulting time differences at a given feed rate via an electronic computer connected with the memory device and switched off at the same time.
