Title:
COATING METHOD OF FLUORORESIN
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5916570
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve the adhesive strength between a fluororesin to be coated on the film of mechanical plating and a metallic blank material and to prevent exfoliation in the stage of deforming and sizing, by applying beforehand said mechanical plating on the surface of the blank material with metal softer than the metal of the blank material.

CONSTITUTION: Ferrous metal such as carbon steel, stainless steel or the like is used as a main blank material, and zinc, tin, copper and the their alloy or the like is mechanically plated on the blank material to form a film having about 10W20μ thickness and about 5W10S roughness. A fluororesin is coated on the blank material formed with the film in such a way and is baked at 180W280°C. The resulted blank material is subjected to deforming and sizing and is finished as a part to be used for sliding parts such as bushing.
