Title:
DETERMINATION BY MEANS OF IMMUNOANALYTICAL ELEMENT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5934154
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To determine immunoreaction amount, by laminating the first detecting layer, a shielding layer and the second detecting layer in order, which are all formed by porous medium, and applying an element for immunoanalysis for only either one of the first and second detecting layers.

CONSTITUTION: A titled analytical element has three layers consisting of the first detecting layer, a shielding layer and the second detecting layer. These layers are laminated in order by placing the shielding layer between the 1st and 2nd detecting layers. Each layer is formed by a porous medium, and only either one of the first and second detecting layers carries an antigen or an antibody. Since the antigen or the antibody combines specifically with an immunoactive substance in a fluid sample, the detective amount corresponding to the amount of immunoreaction is determined from the first and second detecting layers after the completion of the immunoreaction.
