PURPOSE: To improve waterproofness by retaining a fitting body, in which both sides in the cross direction of a base are folded and formed in a slender upper fitting bag, to a seam section, a flashing section and the engaging section of a batten section with the engaging section and a projection.
CONSTITUTION: The upper end and lower end of a batten section 1 consisting of a synthetic resin are bent to an upper section and a lower section respectively, thus forming a flashing section 1a and a seam section 1b. A central section is formed in an approximately pot-shaped cross section from the batten section 1 to the seam section 1b, thus shaping an engaging section. Both ends of the batten section 1 are projected to the surface side, and projections 2 are formed, thus forming a batten 1. The left and right side pieces of a base composed of a metallic material are folded, and engaging tongue pieces 8 are shaped, thus forming a fitting body C formed in slender upper fitting bag shape. The fitting body C is retained to the engaging section of the batten l1 thus forming a waterproof joint material A.
