PURPOSE: To provide an apparatus for thermotherapy capable of preventing an erroneous connection and an incomplete connection of connector in order to secure the stable thermotherapy.
CONSTITUTION: Body 1 of an apparatus for thermotherapy is provided with a plug socket having both a receptacle 4a, 4b for No.1 channel and a receptacle 5a, 5b for No.2 channel, wherein two couples of receptacles (4a, 4b and 5a, 5b) are to be connected to an applicator 14 having a plurality of thermocouples 15, 16 through a four-wire plug unit 7 for the said receptacles in the apparatus body. A plug unit 7 comprises two pairs of plugs 8a, 8b and 9a, 9b which are corresponding to the pairs of receptacles 4a, 4b and 5a, 5b respectively, and the said two pairs correspond to the thermocouple 15 and 16.
