Abstract:
PURPOSE:To assign a boundary region between a reaped region and an unreaped region to either region by picking up a color image over a reaped field and an unreaped field and applying a specific process to the image data. CONSTITUTION:A color image is picked up over a reaped field and an unreaped field to obtain an image plane. Sample regions Ma and Ka are extracted from the unreaped region M and the reaped region K on the image plate and sampling signal values of the color components of three primary colors (R, G, B) are measured on each sample region. The sampling signal values are digitized to classify the whole image data of the image plane into reaped region K, unreaped region M and the boundary ambiguous region C. A neural network is constructed by using the sampling signal values of the color components of three primary colors of the sample regions Ka, Ma as the learning data to classify the ambiguous region C into the reaped region and the unreaped region.
