A grinding device (38, 58) each is disposed at the two machining stations. The grinding devices (38, 58) are controlled such that they act simultaneously on a tooth (12, 16) each of the saw blade (10). Furthermore, a clamping device (70) each is disposed at the two stations, and these clamping devices are controlled such that they simultaneously clamp the saw blade (10), respectively, before the grinding devices (38, 38) engage the saw blade (10).
