Abstract:

PURPOSE: To achieve a higher response in the entry and departure area and a smaller scale of a computer by managing various personal exposure dose data with an ID card having a information managing function on a private basis to make the exposure management decentralized.

CONSTITUTION: In a private identification card (ID card) for entry and departure areas in a radiation management zone, a microprocessor 2, a random access memory 3, a power source 8, a display panel 4, an operation panel 6, a voice response circuit 5 and an information circuit 7 are formed integral in an ID card by VLSI technology. Information on personal exposure dose is inputted via an information exchange circuit 7 and memorized into an RAM3 while required computation processing, condition checking and an evaluation value calculation are performed with the microprocessor 2 in the ID card 1. The results are displayed on a display panel in numeral and message while the transmission of information is done with a voice response circuit to manage the personal information.
