PURPOSE: To register an original automatically and surely without damaging the original by providing a roller means which applies the components of transferring forces in two directions simultaneously upon the original at the delivery part of an original plate.

CONSTITUTION: When the preceding end of an original 11 which is an aperture card fed from an original conveying part 1 in an arrow A direction arrives at an original plate 2, a roller 4 is held diagonally with respect to an original 11 and therefore the result is that the component of the transferring force in a direction X and the component of the transferring force in a direction Y are applied simultaneously upon the original 11. Thus the orignal 11 is conveyed until the same abuts on a stopper 9 in the X direction and a stopper 10 in the Y direction. If the material of the roller 4 and the nipping pressure under which the roller contacts with the original are suitable set, the original 11 abutting on the stoppers and the roller 4 slip, and the original 11 is registered automatically and surely without producing any clearance between the circumferential edge of the original 11 and the stoppers 9 and 10, and without damaging the original 11.
