Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain a measured value of circumferential length with a small error by a simple method by averaging measured values of two images which have some difference in angle of inclination and reducing variation in measured circumferential length with the angle of inclination of a body whose image is picked up. CONSTITUTION:An image of the object G1 is picked up temporarily by an image pickup equipment 10 such as a camera. Then, the object G1 itself or image pickup equipment 10 is rotated around the optical axis Z of the image pickup equipment 10 by pi/8 and an image is picked up again. Then, measured circumferential lengths obtained in said different state are averaged to find the circumferential length of the object G1.
