Abstract:
A raw material for a magnetic shield for use in a color picture tube, having excellent internal magnetic shield characteristics and excellent handling strength, which is produced by cold-rolling a hot-rolled low-carbon strip containing not greater than 0.006 wt.% C, not greater than 0.002 wt.% of N, not greater than 0.5 wt.% Mn, 0.1 to 1.5 wt.% Cu and the balance of Fe and unavoidable impurities, and annealing is at 550 to 850 DEG C.
