PURPOSE: To provide the vacuum cleaner having an easy-to-use handle for pipe capable of securing the smooth moving performance of a sucking device for floor.

CONSTITUTION: A handle pipe 5 is connected to a connection hose 2 and a connection pipe 4 and is bent into a chevron groove. A connection pipe sending dust collecting air from the connection pipe to the hose 2 is provided at the inside of it. A handle section 9 is provided to the handle pipe 5. A handle section 9 extends in the coaxial direction with the connection pipe 4 in the vicinity of the chevron groove bending part of the connection pipe 8 and stretches in the direction of a connection pipe 8 bending approximately at right angles. The part extending in the direction of the connection pipe from the bending part which is almost right angled in the handle section 9 is made to be a handle part 11 in cleaning.
