Abstract:
PURPOSE:To reduce the pulsation of a torque by altering the phase control of a power reactor only in the predetermined mode of an inverter to alter the magnitude of the output current, thereby equalizing all the magnitudes of the magnetomotive force vectors of motor coils. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of sets of current inverters, each of which has a power reactor 11 and a power inverter 31 are connected in multiplex to an AC motor 4, a set voltage value is compared with a motor voltage and an inverter current, thereby controlling power reactors 11, 12. Then, a set frequency value is controlled through a ring counter 72 by the inverters 31, 32. A switch 65 which shortcircuits a resistor 64 is operated by the signal of a counter 72 to alter only the phase control of the power reactors 11, 12 only in the predetermined operation mode. Accordingly, the magnitudes of the intermediate DC current can be modulated at every 60 deg. of electric angle so that all of the magnitudes of the magnetomotive forces of the motor coils become equal, thereby removing the input harmonic current of the motor.
