Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve the accuracy of the tooth and further to make the corner R of the addendum small by using the die and a pair of punches, forming the cylindrical product with a bottom to the cylinder like product with the tooth like shape nearly to the final tooth shape on its circumferential wall and again drawing with the dies having the final tooth shape. CONSTITUTION:The cup formed with the tooth shape on its circumferential wall is fitted to the circular punch 7, and is clamped and fixed with the counter punch 8, and drawn again with utilizing the 3rd dies 9 having the final tooth shape from the opening side of the cup. Because the punch 7 is a circular shape in this time, so does not contact with the inner surface 11 of the addendum of the cup 10 and the inner surface 12 of the side wall part, and contacts only with the inner circumferential surface 13 of the dedendum, so the addendum is subjected to the work of drawing again and the dedendum is subjected to the work of squeezing. Because the contact- pressure of the addendum is small, so on this result, the elastic recovering amount of the tooth front surfaces of the addendum 14, the tooth side face part 15 and the corner R 16 which require the dimentional accuracy is little, the tooth shape with good dimentional accuracy is formed and at the same time because the addendum is the work of drawing, so the thickness decreasing is not generated.
