Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain the bonded body excellent in bonding strength and acting as one superconductor by applying a specified paste contg. a surfactant on the bonding surfaces of the ceramic superconductors, abutting the superconductors on each other and sintering the abutted body. CONSTITUTION:A ceramic superconductor bonding paste consisting essentially of an org. binder, an org. solvent and a ceramic superconductor powder, further added with a surfactant and in which the materials are uniformly mixed is applied on the bonding surfaces of the ceramic superconductors. The bonding surfaces are abutted on each other, and the abutted body is sintered to bond the ceramic superconductors. Since the surfactant is added to the paste as a dispersant, the ceramic superconductor powder as one of the essential components is easily and uniformly dispersed in an org. vehicle formed from the org. binder and solvent.
