Abstract:
PURPOSE:To produce the title molding excellent in scratch resistance and stability of gloss, by forming fine irregularities on an ionizing radiation-curable resin layer formed on the surface of a base molding and curing the resin layer. CONSTITUTION:An ionizing radiation-curable resin is obtained by mixing at least 5wt.% prepolymer having an ethylenically unsaturated bond in the molecule (e.g., unsaturated polyester) with at most 95wt.% monomer having an ethylenically unsaturated bond in the molecule (e.g., styrene). Said resin is applied to the surface of a base molding obtained by extruding a plastic (e.g., ABS resin) and dried to form an ionizing radiation-curable resin layer on it. This resin layer is embossed to form fine irregularities which can bring about an effect of mattness, and is cured by irradiation with an ionizing radiation.
