Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide the coating compsn. which gives a coating film excellent in smoothness and weatherability and improved in edge coverage and corrosionproofness.
CONSTITUTION: Gelled fine particles applicable by cationic electrodeposition coating and obtd. by dispersing an amine adduct of an epoxy resin having hydrolyzable alkoxysilane groups in water and conducting the crosslinking within particles are incorporated together with an alkyltin ester compd. of an arom. carboxylic acid into the coating compsn. having blocked isocyanate groups and contg. an amine-modified epoxy resin and a nonionic acrylic resin.
