PURPOSE: To perform recording in a state where a noise caused by frame feed is extremely small by transferring motion picture film by frictional force and recording the picture of the single frame of the video film at every stop of film feed.

CONSTITUTION: A driving circuit 42 stops the driving of a voice coil 43 for a specified time every time the motion picture film 10 is fed by specified quantity by a film feed means constituted of an idler 45 and a rotation drum 48. The idler 45 is separated from the rotation drum 48 by stopping the driving of the voice coil 43 and the film feed by the film feed means is stopped. Thus the film feed means performs the intermittent feed (frame feed) of film 10 by intermittently driving the voice coil 43 and rocking a rocking arm 44. In this case, the frame feed part 40 frame-feeds the film 10 by the frictional force and a recording part 30 records the picture of each frame on the film 10.
