Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a thermal recording medium which has excellent recording sensitivity, excellent recording image preservability against chemicals such as oil and fat, plasticizer, etc., and small skin fog.
CONSTITUTION: A thermal recording medium comprises a recording layer containing colorless or light-color basic dye and colorant on a support, wherein the colorant contains aromatic compound having a special functional group represented by -SO2NHCX- in a molecule [in the formula, X is oxygen atom or sulfur atom] and hydroxydiphenylilphone derivative.
