PURPOSE: To provide a control equipment with an inspecting function capable of automatically switching a microcomputer from a normal mode to an inspection mode only by connecting an inspection signal generating device to a controller in respect to an inspecting function added control equipment capable of controlling the various load of an equipment body and integrating a self- inspection function.

CONSTITUTION: The control equipment is constituted of a controller 101 mounting a microcomputer 101a consisting of I/O ports including an inspection switching port for switching a normal mode for controlling various loads to an inspection mode for executing a self-inspection function and an inspection starting port for starting inspection and an inspection switching signal generating device 102 having an inspection switching signal generating part 102a for receiving common voltage from the controller 101 and generating an inspection switching signal to be inputted to the inspection switching port and an inspection start signal generating part 102b for generating an inspection start signal to be inputted to the inspection starting port based upon the ON/OFF of the common voltage and the controller 101 is provided with a connection means 101b for connecting the device 102 in accordance with the execution of self-inspection.
