Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a conveyor system relatively small in the area of occupied floor and large in sorting and merging capacity of carried objects.
CONSTITUTION: This has a main conveyor 1, where the transfer course for carried objects is spiral, at least one branch conveyor 2, which is provided near the main conveyor 1 and arranged in the condition of being piled up in plan view, and a shifting means 3, which shifts the carried object between the shift course of the main conveyor 1 and the transfer course of the branch conveyor 2.
