A crosslinkable textile binder composition in the form of powder, for the production of polymer-bonded textile mouldings or sheet, containing (a) copolymer powder with a glass transition pt. (Tg) or melting pt. (Tm) of more than 40 degrees C and a mol. wt. (Mw) of 60000-300000, obtained by emulsion polymerisation of vinyl esters, (meth)acrylate esters, vinyl-aromatics and/or vinyl chloride with 0.01-25 wt% (based on copolymer) of carboxyl group- containing unsaturated monomer(s), followed by drying, and (b) powdered compound(s) with 2 or more epoxide or isocyanate groups and a Tm of 40-150 degrees C. Also claimed is the production of polymer-bonded moulded parts or sheet by bringing textile materials into contact with the above binder and bonding the material at 100-250 degrees C, possibly under pressure.
