Abstract:
PURPOSE:To increase operational efficiency with a low cost apparatus and to prevent qualitative deterioration, by cruising of a vehicle mounting a vacuum cooler to a plurality of vacuum chambers in which fresh plants in a container are cooled with vacuum. CONSTITUTION:Fresh plants are contained within a transportation container 9, by arranging a plurality of vacuum chambers 1 and the transportation container 9 in farming areas of the fresh plants. A vacuum cooler 3 mounted on a vehicle is connected to the exhaust duct of the vacuum chamber 1 to which the vehicle cruises in order to cool with vacuum the inside of both the vacuum chamber 1 and the container 9 and also to discharge poisonous ethylene gas. Next, a breath-depressing gas is conducted into the vacuum chamber 1 to be at the atmospheric pressure. As a result of the above, the atmosphere around the fresh plant becomes a gas concentration to minimize breathing volume. Thereafter, the door 6 of the vacuum chamber 1 is opened to take out the container 9 with the closed door and to transport to destinations. During transportation of the fresh plants, oxygen gas is conducted into the container 9 to discharge carbon dioxide gas in the inside and controlled to perform minimum and normal breathing action.
