Date Aug. 1, 1996A motor driven system for steering a vehicle is provided, the system including a steering control device and a steering device connected through a motorized device, the motorized device transmitting movement to the steering device, the movement having an amplitude different from the movement given to the control device by the driver. The change in amplitude is controlled by a control unit according to various parameters. In this way, the degree of movement of the steering control device is changed by the motorized device such that operators having diminished physical capacity are able to operate the steering control.
