Abstract:
Dianthraquinonyl compounds of the formula where X is a radical R1, R2, R3 or R4, of which R1 is alkyl or alkenyl of at least 8 carbon atoms, R2 is -OR1 or -SR1, R3 is -NHR1 or -N(R1)2, and R4 is a group of the formula where R5 is -NHR1, -N(R1)2, -OR1 or -SR1, n is zero, 1 or 2, and R6 and R7 are independently of one another hydrogen, halogen, nitro, C1-C4-alkyl or C1-C4-alkoxy. These dianthraquinonyl compounds are highly suitable for mass- colouring plastics, in particular polyolefins.
