Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a forming method of very high contrast picture images in which the increase of fog and black spots is prevented even by treatment with a developer of pH<11.2.
CONSTITUTION: This photosensitive the material has at least one silver halide emulsion layer on a supporting body, and the silver halide emulsion layer and/or its adjacent layers contain a hydrazine deriv. which gives high contrast with a developer of between pH≥10.0 and pH<11.2. In the preparation process of the emulsion, at least one kind of sensitizing dye is added before completing a desalting process, and preferably, after mixing and before the desalting process.
