PURPOSE: To provide the remote controller in which plural equipments are easily remotely controlled.
CONSTITUTION: The remote controller is made up of two geomagnetism sensors 11, 12 arranged orthogonal to each other, an operation switch 19, a control means 22 detecting an X-Y rotary angle and an operation command of the operation switch based on output signals from the geomagnetism sensors and the operation switch, a transmission section 21 sending the X-Y rotary angle and the operation command detected by the control means 22, a reception section 26 receiving a transmission signal from the transmission section 21, a control section 28 generating an X-Y rotary angle based on an output signal from the reception section 26 and outputting a control signal corresponding to an icon selected by the operation command, and a monitor 27 on the screen of which icons for function selection and operation contents and device selection by the control section 28 are displayed and a cursor is displayed at an X-Y position corresponding to the X-Y rotary angle.
