PURPOSE: To uniformize the brightness of respective color filters without changing the area and the film thickness thereof.

CONSTITUTION: Aperture parts 4R, 4G and 4B formed by a black matrix 3 are respectively provided with the color filters 5R, 5G and 5B of the color filter 5 consisting of the respective color filters 5R, 5G and 5B of red, green and blue. The aperture area of the respective aperture parts 4R, 4G and 4B formed of the matrix 3 is set so that the quantity of light respectively transmitted through the corresponding filters 5R, 5G and 5B is uniformized. Therefore, the quantity of the light transmitted through the respective filters 5R, 5G and 5B is uniformized and the brightness of the filters 5R, 5G and 5B is uniformized without changing the area and the film thickness thereof.
