PURPOSE: To make it possible to print different symbols or the like continuously and accurately, by a method wherein a plurality of rotary discs each having a plurality of pervious windows on the same circumference thereof are pivotably supported in a superimposed state by a common shaft and masks each having a character or a symbol formed thereto by punching are mounted to said pervious windows and superimposed in an arbitrary combination to be irradiated with laser beam.
CONSTITUTION: A plurality (three in the drawing) of discs 6aW6c are pivotably supported in a superimposed state by a common shaft 2. A plurality (e.g., 32) of pervious windows 8aW8c are provided on the same circumferences of said discs 6aW6c and pulse motors 3aW3c are respectively provided thereto to be made independently rotatable. To each pervious windows 8aW8c of each discs 6aW6c, mask plates 10W12 having figures, characters, symbols or the like pervious to laser beam formed thereto at different positions (e.g., an upper right half part, an upper left half part, a lower half part or the like) by punching are mounted and the combinations of respective pervious windows 8aW8c of the discs 6aW6c are changed at all times while said windows are irradiated with laser beam to successively print objects 9 to be printed one after another conveyed by a belt conveyor 15.
