Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve the productivity by holding an original shape coil in a planely crossing state, and simultaneously shaping phase coils. CONSTITUTION:Strands made of a self-adhesive lead are wound to form a substantially rectangular original shape coil 1. N pieces of the substantially rectangular coils 1 are planely crossed in a non-fixed state, and 2N side polygonal sides formed at the crossing center are held by 2N pieces of pins 8b provided at the ends 6a of a holding member 6. The member 6 is inserted into a hollow shaping member 15 in this holding state, and N pieces of original shape coils 1 are simultaneously shaped. In this case, the end 6' of the member 6 is inserted into an inlet 16 of the member 15, the both U-shaped free ends of the coil 1 are inclined into the inserting direction, and a guide pin is inserted between U- shaped free ends. In this state, the member 6 is inserted to the deep portion of the member 15, and the U-shaped free ends are bundled and shaped. This is heated, thereby forming a cup-shaped armature coil unit.
