PURPOSE: To realize economically a signal receiver excellent in the impulse response characteristic by using plural band pass filters having plural different adjacent pass bands and applying a prescribed logical operation to the outputs of them.
CONSTITUTION: A band pass filter F4 has a pass band including frequencies f1 and f2 and a band pass filter F5 has a pass band including frequencies f2 and f3. Comparators T4 and T5 compare filter output signals s24, s25 transmitted from the corresponding band pass filter F4 or F5 with a prescribed threshold value, and when it is detected that the output signal is the said threshold value or over, comparator circuit output signal s34 or s35 of logical value "1" is outputted. When an input signal s1 having the frequency f1 reaches the band pass filters F4 and F5, a filter output signal s24 reaches nearly L/2 level and the filter output signal s25 represents nearly "0" level. As a result, the comparator circuit T4 outputs the comparator circuit output signal s34 of logical value "1" and the comparator circuit T5 outputs the comparator circuit output signal s35 of logical value "0".
