PURPOSE: To repeat the seal by a resin plural times, and further improve airtightness by providing an inclined surface swollen in the center part and lowered toward the peripheral part on a bottom plate having terminal holes arranged along the peripheral part.
CONSTITUTION: A contact shoe, a contact and an operation coil are integrated into a box body formed by airtightly sealing a cover 1 and a bottom plate 6 to provide an electromagnetic relay. A lead terminal 3 is inserted to a plurality of terminal holes 61 arranged along the peripheral part of the bottom plate 6, and a resin 5 is supplied from a moving nozzle 4 to airtightly seal the periphery of the lead terminal 3. In such an electromagnetic relay, the bottom plate 6 has an inclined surface 62 swollen in the center part and lowered toward the peripheral part. Thus, the resin 5 dropped from the nozzle 4 to the inside from the lead terminal 3 line is run down along the inclined surface 52, and stayed and hardened in the peripheral part of the bottom plate 6 including the forming area of the terminal holes 61.
